McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

At the Youth Research Centre, we are seeking potential candidates to apply for the McKenzie postdoc to work with the Life Patterns team. The Life Patterns research program is a two-decade longitudinal study that follows two generations of Australians. The project is led by myself and the team includes myself, Prof. Helen Cahill, Ass. Prof Hernan Cuervo, Dr Jenny Chesters, Dr Julia Cook, Assoc. Prof. Dan Woodman and our international partner Prof. Carmen Leccardi from University of Milano-Biccoca, Italy. Applicants to the postdoc must have been awarded a PhD from a university other than the University of Melbourne by the closing date. The PhD must have been awarded no earlier than 1 January 2015. All potential candidates need to work closely with a senior staff mentor to develop the work and produce the most competitive application.

The University will fund the Fellowships for a three year appointment.

Note: The Youth Research Centre does not hold the postdoc, the university does.
