SUMMARY:Seminar series "Toward an integrative cognitive science of social inequalities" (spring semester 2024)
DESCRIPTION:The goal of this seminar series is to discuss research coming out of the fields of cognitive science and sociology\, with the hope of articulating the social and cognitive dimensions of inequalities. Are there bridges between these two fields? What are the challenges for interdisciplinary research? Although the differences between the fields of cognitive science and sociology cannot be denied\, the goal of this seminar is to facilitate scientific exchange among communities of researchers interested in questions that relate to social inequality. \nSeminars will be held online. DESCRIPTION:Esta iniciativa tem como objetivos: \n– Reforçar o debate interdisciplinar sobre a sustentabilidade e abordar um dos temas da atualidade europeia\, nomeadamente a Resolução do Parlamento Europeu\, de 15 de junho de 2023\, sobre os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável.\n– Dinamizar a relação entre a academia e as instituições europeias\, estimulando a aproximação dos jovens estudantes à atuação das mesmas.\n– Divulgar o Mestrado de Serviço Social e Sustentabilidade do ISCSP Universidade de Lisboa.\n– Partilhar experiências na área da sustentabilidade. \nA participação é gratuita e sujeita a inscrição até ao dia 20 de março\, podendo ser submetida através do seguinte link: https://forms.gle/tjhoPUrgThi7qdZ3A \nA inscrição é limitada aos lugares do auditório.
