Dear ESA members,

We are proud to announce the launch of the new ESA 2021 conference website.

More than a year before the conference, it already provides information about the city of Barcelona, the conference organisers, all important dates and much more that you will find helpful for participating in the 15th ESA conference in Barcelona, 31 August – 3 September 2021.

For your first visit of the new conference website, we recommend that you look at the page presenting the conference theme “Sociological Knowledges for Alternative Futures“. You can also read more about our first confirmed Plenary speaker, Rosamaria Cisneros, a Roma sociologist, curator, dance historian and critic, Romani scholar, and peace activist.

The pages are updated on a regular basis, in principle as soon as new information comes in, so make sure to keep visiting! Important news is also shared via Twitter @esa_sociology with the hashtag #esa2021BCN.

Enjoy browsing the ESA 2021 conference website!

Best regards,

Your ESA 2021 Organisers
