Social Issues in Childhood and Adolescence
January 28–30, 2026 | Porto, Portugal & online.

To mark this special edition, we will be revisiting the core themes from the very first edition back in 2017, reflecting on how they have evolved and their continued relevance today. Key topics will include:

  • Child abuse and neglect
  • Chronic and complex illnesses
  • Public policies for children
  • New and old addictions

At the same time, we will explore emerging issues, such as the growing impact of artificial intelligence on children and adolescents, among other current challenges.

We look forward to welcoming you to this important space for dialogue, reflection, and knowledge sharing.
