Linking Ethics, Social Responsibility and Sustainability Challenges for science and practice
6 – 7 June 2019 | Lisbon | Portugal
Regular Registration until 30th April
Continuing and expanding the goals of the previous four editions, the 5th Symposium on Ethics and Social Responsibility Research-2019 aims to be a dynamic forum for scholars to share and discuss advances in scientific understanding of the current challenges of ethics, sustainability and social responsibility in organizational and societal settings.
Nowadays, people expect organizations to be accountable for the ethicality of their internal and external processes, including the relationships with stakeholders, and ask for a higher level of transparency in decision processes affecting collective life. The same is true of the environmental and social sustainability problems, which are increasingly important in public debate and in the concerns of individuals and communities.
The 5th SESRR aims at not only promoting discussions on theoretical models and research empirical results, but also debating policies, strategies, and practices. Issues such as the prevention of misconduct in organizations or the relationship between organizational ethics and the strategies for sustainability will be discussed at specific forums, involving scholars, practitioners and decision makers.
