New Deadline for Applications – Two Early-Stage Researcher Positions at the University of Aveiro, Portugal (Project EPHEMERAL, MSCA Doctoral Networks 2024)
We are pleased to announce the opening of the call for the recruitment of two Early-Stage Researchers in Rural Entrepreneurship at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. These positions are offered within the framework of the EPHEMERAL – Entrepreneurship and Place: How Entrepreneurs Manage Evolving Relationships Across the Life-Cycle project (HORIZON-MSCA-2024-DN-01-01 / 101227644).

At this link, applicants can find all relevant information, including eligibility criteria, detailed descriptions of the research projects, requirements, and application procedures. The appointments will be for a period of 36 months.
The research positions will focus on two main topics:
1) Rural tourism and heritage identities: implications for local entrepreneurship (1 position)
2) Food networks & building connectivity and communicating place identities beyond the rural (1 position)
Funded under Horizon Europe, EPHEMERAL seeks to train a new generation of researchers in advancing rural development theory and practice through entrepreneurship. The project investigates how entrepreneurs shape rural places over time, considering life-cycle dynamics, evolving local contexts, and structural societal changes. The consortium brings together five European universities and several non-academic partners, offering interdisciplinary supervision and training in rural entrepreneurship and development (http://www.sdu.dk/clf/EPHEMERAL)
