Divulgamos a chamada de artigos para um número especial da revista Frontiers in Sociology, organizada pelos investigadores do IS-UP, Sofia Cruz e José Soeiro. O tópico de investigação “Digital Transformations and the Changing Nature of Work” centra-se nas implicações multifacetadas das transformações digitais na natureza mutável do trabalho. São aceites artigos originais, explorações teóricas e estudos de caso aprofundados que examinem as transformações digitais, a natureza mutável e o futuro do trabalho a partir de diversas perspetivas. Os resumos devem ser enviados até 24 de janeiro de 2024.

XV Spanish Congress of Sociology (Seville, June 26-29, 2024)
The next Spanish Congress of Sociology is coming, in its 15th edition. It will take place from June 26 to 29, 2024 in Seville, organised by the Spanish Federation of Sociology in collaboration with the Department of Sociology of the Pablo de Olavide University, with the theme: #SociologíaParaLaSociedadDigital.
We encourage you to send proposals and spread the event.
Deadline for sending communications: From January 15 to February 29, 2024

It will be a face-to-face conference, however a selection of internationally oriented working groups will include in their calls the possibility of organising some online sessions (the WGs management teams will select the communications and organise the sessions that will be held online). These selected working groups are the following:
• WG11: Southern European Societies. In collaboration with the ESA Research Network 27 “Southern European Societies” and our colleagues in the Network of Sociological Associations of Southern Europe-RESU.
• G25: Sociology of Migration.
• WG32: International Studies, Area Studies and Globalisation.
• WG41: Comparative Sociology between Europe and Latin America.

We welcome abstracts and presentations in both Spanish and English.
