A primeira sessão deste Ciclo é já dia 2 de fevereiro, às 16h00 (hora de Portugal Continental), e será uma Conversa com autores.
Richard A. Settersten Jr. (Oregon State University) e Glen H. Elder Jr.
(University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) virão partilhar e discutir connosco os resultados do seu mais recente livro “Living on the Edge. An American Generation’s Journey through the Twentieth Century” (de autoria também de Lisa D. Pearce e publicado pela University of Chicago Press), resultados esses surpreendentemente relevantes para a compreensão das famílias e gerações actuais.

“Drawing from the iconic longitudinal Berkeley Guidance Study, Living on the Edge reveals the hopes, struggles, and daily lives of the 1900 generation. Most surprising is how relevant and relatable the lives and experiences of this generation are today, despite the gap of a century.
