The conference will provide a critical space to explore how platform capitalism is reshaping labour, urban infrastructures, and social reproduction, while generating new forms of precarity, migration regimes, and urban inequality. It will also highlight the innovative practices of organisation, resistance, and solidarity developed by workers, unions, cooperatives, and grassroots collectives.

Abstract submission deadline: 30 September 2025

We welcome contributions addressing themes such as:

  • Precarity, algorithmic control and labour fragmentation
  • Migration, borders and racial capitalism
  • Feminisation and social reproduction
  • Resistance, solidarity and mobilisation
  • Urban transformations and inequalities
  • Methods and cartographies of platformisation

Keynote speakers include: Moritz Altenried, Olivia Blanchard, Lorenzo Cini, Anne Dufresne, Júlia Nueno, Kristina Zampoukos, Ramón Ribera Fumaz, Paula Rodríguez-Modroño, and Nuria Soto.
